The audio for Empty Suit came as a result of a long day of bureaucratic meetings at the end of which musician Brent Lee mentally decompressed by created a sound poem. Hearing this story and relating to the experience of losing the sense of self in the professional world of office politics and administrative jargon, video artist Owen Eric Wood translated Lee’s sentiment into moving pictures. The relationship between image and sound demonstrates how each expresses similar meaning using very different media and how they come together to form one narrative.
